This page lists troubleshooting steps for common questions about Wonde auto-rostering

I have a new pupil--why aren't they appearing on Sumdog?

Pupils can take up to a day to pull through to Sumdog, so if the pupil was added very recently, they may have not been synced yet.

Otherwise, try checking they're listed on your school's MIS and are being shared with us. If the pupil is being shared with us and was added more than more than one day ago, please get in touch with us at support@sumdog.com and include the name of the pupil and their class in your email.

Why are some teachers not appearing on Sumdog?

First check that your sync is set up to include teachers. Go into Settings and click 'manage' in the Manage Teachers box. 

  • If you see the message below, that means teachers are included in your sync and should be updated automatically. Teachers, students and classes are being kept up to date automatically through Wonde Please reach out to support@sumdog.com with the name of the teacher who isn't appearing. 
  • If you don't see that message, that means teachers are not included in your sync and you'll need to add and remove them yourself. To invite a teacher, go into Manage Teachers, click the 'Invite teachers' tab, and click 'Invite a colleague'.

    You'll then be able to type in your colleague's email address and click 'send invite' to send an invite to their email. Once they accept the invite, they'll be added to the school.

I'm a school admin and need to access Sumdog

If you're not listed as teaching staff on your MIS but need to access Sumdog as an admin, or if you already have a Sumdog account but are unable to see all the classes in your school, please reach out to us at support@sumdog.com

I have a new pupil who isn't on our MIS-- can we override the system to add them on Sumdog?

Unfortunately it isn't possible to override the sync and add a pupil manually. As your class roster is being synced with us via Wonde, we can only take the data being shared with us from your external roster.
