Tablets and smartphones
Important: If you're using Sumdog on a tablet or smartphone, you must use the app. Using Sumdog on a browser will not work on these devices.
- Android you will need to have Android version 5.0 (Lollipop) or later
- Apple you will need to have Apple iOS 12.0 or later
- Kindle Fire you will need to have Fire OS 5 or later
Computers and Laptops
- Microsoft Windows you will need to be using Windows 7 or later
- Mac OS you will need to be using version 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or later
- Chromebooks will need to be using Chrome version 57.0.0.0 or later on the Chrome web browser.

All the latest games on Sumdog operate on HTML 5 as standard. That means accessing Sumdog through a web browser requires a browser and version which supports HTML5.
Sumdog also requires WebGL as part of an HTML5-enabled browser. You can check the status of WebGL on your browser here.
Internet Explorer is not supported for HTML 5 or WebGL. We recommend you update to a newer browser to overcome this problem.
Supported web browsers (for use on computers and laptops)
The following browsers and versions are required to access Sumdog:
- Chrome you will need to be using version 57.0.0.0 or later. You can download the latest version of Chrome here.
- Firefox you will need to be using version 52.0 or later. You can download the latest version of Firefox here.
- Edge you will need to be using version 16.0 or later. You can download the latest version of Edge here.
- Safari you will need to be using version 11.0 or later. You can download the latest version of Safari here.
Note: Internet Explorer is not a supported web browser.
Sumdog app (for use on phones or tablets)
If you're using a mobile device, you'll need to download and use the Sumdog app rather than the browser. The Sumdog app is available on on Android and Apple iOS. This makes it compatible with most major tablets and smartphones. We recommend keeping your Sumdog app updated to the latest version to ensure the best performance.
The following operating systems are required to run Sumdog games on tablet and smartphone devices:
- Apple iOS you will need to be using iOS 12.0 or later to be able to install and update the Sumdog app. You can download and update the Sumdog app on your iPad/iPhone here.
- Android you will need to be using Android version 5.0 or later to be able to install and update the Sumdog app. You can download and update the Sumdog app through the Google Play store.
- Amazon Kindle you will need to be using Fire OS 5 or later to be able to install and update the Sumdog app. You can download and update the Sumdog app from Amazon Playstore.
