Once you've downloaded it, click 'sign up'. It will ask who is signing up - choose 'parent'
Enter your details and click 'create account'
It will ask you to confirm your email address. For this step, you'll need to leave the app and open your emails. Click on the link in the email to confirm your Sumdog account. Alternatively, you can copy and paste the web address into your browser.
Return to the Sumdog app, and click 'I've clicked this link'
If this is your first time registering for a parent account, you can start a 1 week trial by clicking 'start trial'
You will be prompted to confirm your payment through your phone. You will only be charged once the trial period has ended. We recommend taking note of the date it says you will be charged. You will be able to cancel the subscription anytime.
Once you've entered your payment details, you'll be able to add accounts for your children.
Set up your child's account
If your child has an account from school, click 'my child already has a login'
If you are creating a new account, click 'create a login for my child'
Choose the option that is right for you
You'll then be asked to enter their details. If it's a new login, enter their name and date of birth. If they already have an account, enter their login from school and date of birth.
After this step, you can confirm the details or add another child.
If you'd like to save logins so that every time your child uses this tablet/phone they don't have to enter their login, click 'save all logins on this device'. Please note that if you have more than 1 child saved, they will be able to access both accounts.
