How can I set a Multiplication Tables Check?

The Multiplication Tables Check is a quick assessment to evaluate your students' fluency in the times tables.

How to set an MTC

1. Log into your teacher account and go into Set Work
2. Click 'Focus on tables' in the Multiplication Practice box
   
   
   
   
3. Scroll down to the Multiplication Tables Check box on the bottom left and click 'create & view'
   
   
   
   
4. Make sure you have the correct class selected on the top left, and click 'set check'
   
   
   
   

The MTC will then be available for the students in your class for the next 24 hours. When pupils begin the MTC, they'll see the screen below:

The assessment will be in the following format: 

•  25 questions
•  6 seconds to answer
•  3 seconds between each question
•  questions up to ×12

How to view the results of the MTC you've set

1. Log into your teacher account and go into Set Work
2. Click 'Focus on tables' in the Multiplication Practice box
   
   
   
   
3. Scroll down to the Multiplication Tables Check box on the bottom left and click 'create & view'
   
   
   
   
4. Click 'view results' on the right. You'll then be able to see a list of all assessments you've set. The MTC title will be in the format 'Multiplication Check - [Class Name]'
   
   
   
   
5. Click 'results' for the MTC you want to view to see how your students did
