This page lists troubleshooting steps for common questions about Clever auto-rostering

I have a new student--why aren't they appearing on Sumdog?

Students can take up to a day to pull through to Sumdog, so if the student was added very recently, they may just not have been  synced yet.

Otherwise, try checking they're listed on your school's SIS and are being shared with us. If the student is being shared with us and was added more than more than one day ago, please get in touch with us at support@sumdog.com, including the name of the student and their class.

Why are some teachers not appearing on Sumdog?

The information appearing on Sumdog is taken from your SIS. If there are teachers who should be on Sumdog but aren't appearing, please ask your Clever admin to check that they're being shared with us according to your data sharing setup.

You can also feel free to reach out to us at support@sumdog.com with the name of the teacher who isn't appearing.  

I'm a school admin and need to access Sumdog

If you're not being shared with a section on Clever (for example, if you're an IT admin or a school principal without any classes) but you need to access class data for your school, please get in touch with us at support@sumdog.com.

In your email, please include the full name and address of the school and copy in a superior. Once we receive confirmation from your superior that you have permission to access school data, we'll be able to update your settings to add you to all classes.

I have a new student who isn't on our SIS -- can we override the system to add them on Sumdog?

Unfortunately it isn't possible to override the sync and add a student manually. As your class roster is being synced with us via Clever, we can only take the data being shared with us from your class roster.
